Human Resources 
APEC Kolath’s culture is derived from its guiding principles. APEC Kolath does not tolerate any form of physical or sexual harassment or abuse. Respect, dignity, and entrepreneurial thinking also guide it on all levels of staff. It is open-minded and aims to promote a sense of identity for the staff within APEC Kolath. APEC Kolath’s business practice is designed to create a safe working environment. 

Environment 
APEC Kolath is committed to actively protecting the environment. It integrates environmental policies, laws, and practices into each business entity at management level. 

Compliance Audits 
Regular compliance audits will be performed with respect to the adherence to applicable laws and regulations as well as to APEC Kolath’s internal management regulations, policies and procedures. 

Review of Product 
All Group companies must have reviewed product instructions carefully as regards accuracy and correctness. It is up to each Group Company to ensure that a lawyer shall be involved for a final check before marketing/distributing the products. Furthermore, any recommendation given for a specific application needs to be checked against applicable standards. These guidelines are mandatory. 

Combating Corruption 
Corruption distorts competition, leads to higher costs, destroys the trust of customers and suppliers and finally puts jobs at risk. APEC Kolath does not permit competition to be interfered with or falsified by bribery, fraud, industrial espionage, theft, coercion, or price fixing. Employees, who attempt unfairly to influence officials, will be punished by either disciplinary or labour law measures. APEC Kolath does also not tolerate being unfairly influenced. Employees who allow themselves to be biased by acts as mentioned above will also be punished by either disciplinary or labour law measures 

APEC Kolath prohibits bribery in any form, whether direct or indirect. APEC Kolath generally prohibits the offer, gift, or acceptance of a bribe in whatever form. APEC Kolath also prohibits its employees from arranging or accepting a bribe or kickback, be it for the employee’s benefit or that of their family, friends, associates or acquaintances. 

Any sort of facilitation payments to officials, even when these may be small in amount, which are made to secure or expedite the performance of a routine or necessary action to which the payer of facilitation payment has a legal or other entitlement, are a form of bribery. Hence, such payments shall not be made. 

APEC Kolath prohibits the offer or receipt of gifts, hospitality or expenses whenever such arrangements could affect the outcome of business transactions and are not reasonable and bona fide expenditures. However, APEC Kolath acknowledges that in some countries gifts are customary and are an act of courtesy. 

APEC Kolath avoids dealing with contractors and suppliers known to be paying bribes. 

Conflict of Interest 
The management and staff should avoid any activities or engagements which might conflict with or be detrimental to the interests of APEC Kolath or which may appear to be in conflict with their job commitment. Any behaviour that may reflect unfavourably upon the integrity or good name of APEC Kolath or related persons should be avoided. 

APEC Kolath’s management and staff commit themselves to placing the business interests of APEC Kolath ahead of any personal interests.
